Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 95-110; Anal soft rays: 81-94; Vertebrae: 100-112. This species is distinguished by the following characters: pungent spines D XV–XX, total spiny rays in the anterior and middle parts of the dorsal fin (D1 + D2) 60–69; length of the pungent part of the dorsal fin (D2) 17-22% of the caudal-part length (from anal-fin origin to the end of caudal fin) and 43–72% of the posterior dorsal-fin part (D3); preoperculomandibular pores 6; developed scales only on the tail and do not reach the anal-fin origin; vertebrae 100-112 (19-20 + 80-92), D 95-110 (45-49 XV-XX 34-49); A 81-94; P 10-12 (Ref. 123369). | |||
