Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-10. This species is distinguished by the following characters: 8-9 transverse suborbital row c (3-4 of them are below suborbital row b); sensory papillae of longitudinal suborbital row b is long, starting from posterior edge of pupil and reaching to posterior edge of preopercle; proliferated suborbital row a; naked nape and breast; the single anterior oculoscapular head canal ends at the anterior edge of the eyes; absence of ? pore in all specimens; 32=37 reduced scales in lateral series (Ref. 117533). | |||
