Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 28-28; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 17-17; Vertebrae: 26-26. This species distinguished by the following characters: 28 segmented dorsal-fin rays; 17 segmented anal fin rays; 46 scales in lateral series; 35-37 anterior lateral line scales; no dark grey spot on anterior part of opercle behind upper edge of preopercle (Ref. 81967). Description: Characterized by yellowish color grading to brown on upper head and back; blue spot on each scale of side forming longitudinal rows; generally pale fins with blue spots at base of dorsal fin; caudal fin yellowish (Ref. 90102). | |||
