This species is distinguished by the following characters: predorsal vertebrae 34-38; preanal vertebrae 41-44; total vertebrae 93–102; larvae with a sharp intestinal loop; presence of the posterior lateral melanophore and anterior ventral melanophore; colour when preserved gray to brown (Ref. 133039).
